If you\'re looking to reduce background noise in a recording, follow these steps. We\'ll use a free, open-source tool called Audacity, which is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Step 5: Reduce Background Noise
Click anywhere outside the selected area, then go back to \"Effect\" > \"Noise Reduction.\" A new \'Noise Reduction\' window will open. Make sure the following settings are checked:
Click \"OK\" to apply the noise reduction effect.
Step 6: Listen and Adjust
Click the \'Play\' button to listen to the adjusted audio. If you find that the noise reduction was not sufficient or introduced distortions, repeat steps 4 to 5 with adjusted sensitivity values.
Step 7: Save Your Work
Once you\'re satisfied with the reduced background noise, click on \"File\" > \"Save Project As...\" (or use Ctrl + Shift + S on Windows/Linux) to save your work. If you want to export and save only the final audio file, go to \"File\" > \"Export\" > \"Export as WAV,\" or use the shortcut Ctrl + E (Windows/Linux) or Command + Shift + E (macOS).
